Yeah it’s been a long time since I produced one of these. Tidbits and Hotness is/was my weekly Friday series where I kinda wrap-up the week and share interesting snippets from the internet. See I’m sort of a nerd or geek, which ever you prefer, I read a lot of crap. Some of its HR related some of its not. So let’s get on with it.

I recently joined the Ipad nation and I have to say it’s changed the way I think about things and it seems I’m not the only one. Check this out, just in time for football season

We are in an election year and jobs and unemployment is all the rage. Here are some unemployment percentages in black and white. Meaning the rate for blacks and the rate for whites over the past few presidencies.  “When White America has a cold, Black America has the flu.”

Finally, I’ve been quiet this week, that’s because I’m nursing an injury and it couldn’t come at a worse time for me personally. I won’t get into that but I’ll just say, I’m doing fine. Thanks to those of you who noticed my silence and reached to check on me. With the commemoration of September 11^th 2001, I found myself feeling guilty for being upset by my injury when we have so many that have lost their lives.

And then the attacks on the US Embassies around the global…this is bad for business and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families of J. Christopher Stevens and all the victims. From all accounts this was a good man, doing good work.
