Greetings and welcome to CostofWork.com. On Friday’s, I publish this weekly series titled “Tidbits & Hotness.” Tidbits is a collection of interesting, fun and mostly light hearted things that I’ve seen during the week, either shared on social media or the news.
Let’s get the serious stuff out of the way. Good news from the recession, unemployment rate went down overall and for blacks (8.3% and 13.2% respectively). And the median salary in Amerca is up.
Next, this is kinda sad. This actor was shocked to see his image on a poster, but not in a good way.
This one is just cool. Talk about creatively thinking inside the box. The folks at Starbucks know how to recycle and go green.
And last but not least, Jay-Z! Are you sick of him? Well get over it because he constantly breaking down barriers and taking his profession to the next level. This is not your parent’s concert at Carnegie Hall.
